SUMMARY:SUNRISE Webinar – Relevant subsystems to validate Connected and Automated Mobility Systems
DESCRIPTION:Webinar Monday 22 January 2024 \nSafety assurance of automated vehicles is crucial for their successful adoption. It is commonly accepted that scenario-based validation\, combining both physical and virtual testing is the most promising approach to test and assess the reliability of automated vehicles. However\, the lack of a common European validation framework\, and homogeneity regarding safety validation procedures\, hampers the deployment of CCAM solutions. \nThe SUNRISE project develops a Safety Assurance Framework (SAF) for scenario-based safety validation of CCAM systems\, covering a broad portfolio of test cases and validation tools\, with standardised\, open interfaces and quality-controlled data exchange. \nThe topic of this fourth webinar will be SUNRISE verification and validation (V&V) simulation framework for CCAM systems\, and the first related report identifying the relevant subsystems\, and requirements from a SAF perspective\, of a harmonised CCAM V&V simulation framework. \nAgenda: \n\nSUNRISE project introduction (Bernhard Hillbrand\, Virtual Vehicle)\nSUNRISE verification and validation (V&V) simulation framework for CCAM systems (Bernhard Hillbrand\, Virtual Vehicle)\nRelevant subsystems and requirements of a harmonised CCAM V&V simulation framework (Anders Thorsén\, RISE Research Institutes of Sweden AB)\nQ&A\n\n  \nRegister here!
