SUMMARY:SUNRISE Webinar – Requirements for CCAM safety assessment data framework content
DESCRIPTION:Webinar Thursday 07 March 2024 \nSafety assurance of automated vehicles is crucial for their successful adoption. It is commonly accepted that scenario-based validation\, combining both physical and virtual testing is the most promising approach to test and assess the reliability of automated vehicles. However\, the lack of a common European validation framework\, and homogeneity regarding safety validation procedures\, hampers the deployment of CCAM solutions. \nThe SUNRISE project develops a Safety Assurance Framework (SAF) for scenario-based safety validation of CCAM systems\, covering a broad portfolio of test cases and validation tools\, with standardised\, open interfaces and quality-controlled data exchange.
