DESCRIPTION:Convened by TRB\, the Automated Road Transportation Symposium will be held July 29 – August 1\, 2024 in San Diego\, CA. The convening of global thought leaders from the industry\, government\, and research communities will collaborate on the opportunities and challenges associated with automating road transportation. \nARTS24 will provide updates on the current research and development\, advanced engineering progress\, and field deployment results. The symposium will also provide a strong focus on issues impacting the U.S. DOT and state departments of transportation resulting from road vehicle automation advancements. It builds on the highly successful 2012-2020 Automated Vehicle Symposia and the 2021-2023 Automated Road Transportation Symposia.
