Audit
On one hand, the Audit block represents a systematic verification process for the application of the SUNRISE Safety Assurance Framework (SAF), designed specifically for vehicle safety bodies who need to validate the proper application of the framework.
On the other hand, the Audit block assesses the adequacy of the safety management approach applied at CCAM manufacturers and suppliers, including the development process, the verification & validation process and the tools and methods used.
The Audit block therefore covers both the development and lifecycle of the CCAM system, thereby confirming its functional and operational safety before market introduction.
The audits performed in this block, are not covered in the scope of the SUNRISE project. Nevertheless, the Audit block forms an integral part of the SUNRISE SAF.
